The Coerver® Summer Camp will deliver effective team players through the Coerver Teaching Method. This consists of ball mastery repetitions, receiving and passing, 1v1 moves attack and defense, as well as speed, finishing activities and small group play exercises based on our evolving Pyramid of Player Development curriculum.

The camp features individual and small sided competitions and World Cup Tournament to encourage instinctive play in attack and defense. The atmosphere is energetic and positive with an increased level of intensity and fun!

The Coerver Kid key qualities will be expressed as a theme for each day. Skill, Speed, Strength, Smarts & Spirit are the 5 S's that we use as a vehicle to explain soccer and life lessons. We want to encourage each player to find the internal motivation to practice healthy habits on a daily basis.

All things Goalkeeper related. The Goalkeeper Day Camps are designed for goalkeepers who are keen on developing their goalkeeper abilities. The Coerver Goalie Day Camps are here to fit every Goalkeepers' technical requirements. This individual development program works on the Coerver 5 S's to achieve excellence in every player. Partnering with soccer 101, together we will focus strictly on the individual techniques and skills of each player to enhance much-needed qualities needed to perform at the highest level attainable. We make each player great technically, physically and mentally for coaches to use for team success!

Supercharge the speed of your finishing with this shooting drill from Coerver Coaching. We will make sure players have the proper Form/Technique and build up to working on every area Such as Shooting, Finishing and to become better with both feet.The finishing rotation will teach players how to improve goal scoring opportunities and take advantage of tight spaces to take a shot.

Players will receive a Uniform Kit.

The Coerver Play Like the Stars Camps are open to boys and girls between 10-16 years. Players are divided first by ability then by age into groups with a typical coaching ratio of no more than 13 to 1. This soccer training program consists of: 

The Coerver 5-Day Play Like the Stars Camp develops individual skill in all areas of the game with emphasis on Ball Mastery and Beginning - Advanced Move Sets. Each day will cover (2) World Star Model Players with their techniques and attributes. The emphasis is to develop confidence, players are given time to gain competence in new skills before defensive pressure is added. When a level of competence has been established, small sided games which encourage the use of new skills are played.

Full Day Camps introduce players to the "World's #1 Soccer Skills Teaching Method" in a structured 4 day program which maximizes player development. Players train in a fun but challenging learning environment that emphasizes ball mastery, individual moves, small sided play, group play and finishing. The curriculum is challenging and is developed for players to master basic skills and gradually move into more difficult skills, but also emphasizes creativity and spontaneity. The camps focus on teaching the individual skills indispensable for success in soccer. Proper fundamental skills are taught as well as advanced skills that make playing fun and encourage players to practice on their own. Emphasis is placed on individual skill development and basic moves with the goal of developing confidence on the ball. Beginning “move sets” are taught and games are played to practice the moves in a method that starts with no pressure and slowly adds the pressure of time and/or space restrictions. Passive defensive pressure is then added and by the end of the first morning, players are performing moves under full defensive pressure to goal. First touch is a major theme in Ball Mastery sessions. 

Full Day: All groups play in our “World Cup” competition with teams they stay with throughout the week. This is a round robin competition of small-sided games. Results are recorded each day and a finals competition is held on Friday. Group champions are recognized at our award ceremony on Friday. Plus they will have a shooting and Agility competition.

Coerver Summer camps are designed for players who want to improve their skills and game effectiveness. Our aim is to develop confident and creative players while teaching essential social skills such as good sportsmanship and respect, in addition to a good attitude to practice and play. Campers receive a progressive series of instruction in Ball Mastery, Receiving and Passing, 1v1 Attacking skills, Speed (including the speed of thought), Finishing and Group Play. All this results in improving player’s ball control, 1v1 skills, creativity, speed of play and overall Soccer IQ.

There will be group rotations plus strength and conditioning with and without the ball.
